Cavs forward LeBron James picks USAEyes doctor for Lasik.

CLEVELAND, Ohio, Sept 13, 2007  -- Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James had Lasik eye surgery to improve his vision. The procedure was performed in Beverly Hills, Calif., by Dr. Kerry K. Assil, a renowned eye surgeon whose patient outcomes have been evaluated and certified by the Council for Refractive Surgery Quality Assurance (USAEyes).

USAEyes is a nonprofit patient advocacy that evaluates Lasik results and certifies doctors who meet or exceed patient outcome requirements.

In a prepared statement, Dr. Assil has okayed James to resume his off-season workout routine.
