A doctor in Westlake Village, CA is advertising something called SuperLasik. He claims it's Lasik with the flap being "ultra thin". His description of the creation of the flap sounds suspiciously like PRK/EpiLasik, but he claims it's not.

Is this for real? Why haven't I heard other surgeons talk about this technology.

Check out SBK and also search for the term in this forum, since some discussion has been done here recently. The word 'SuperLasik' more than likely refers to intralase/femtosecond laser created flaps though.
