MONOVISION

Postby SEAMUS » Wed Jul 14, 2010 11:02 am

I am in the second week of a contact lens trial in preparation for Lasik. I am having some difficulty reading newspapers[no clarity]and seeing something in the far distant[no clarity]. Will this improve with time when the surgery is done. My dominant eye is being done for reading and the other for distant.

It can take some time to become accustomed to monovision. You may also need to adjust the amount of undercorrection. Report your difficulties to your doctor and read our article about Lasik monovision.
