Post Lasik corneal flap reattachment

Postby Mikewas+4 » Wed Oct 03, 2007 5:11 pm

Post lasik instructions from my doctor where,
Don't rub your eye's
Sleep with goggles for one week
Use perscribed eye drops as instructed.

My question is how long on average does it take a corneal flap to reattach itself to the point where you can touch your eye lids or sleep without goggles? My sleeping goggles fell apart 5 days after my procedure and I'm concerned about this.

Thanks for any replies; Mike

I hated the googles my doctor gave me. I actually went to the home depot and found some eye protection goggles that worked great for sleep, and now I use for the yard work.
