i want me old eyes back

Postby Ripley » Sat Oct 11, 2008 8:28 am

its now been 1 month since surgery. my vision is skewed. i can't concentrate. distance vision is well sketchy and it makes me spin out. feel nauseous. getting headaches still. really regreting the whole thing. my old eye vision seems like paradise now. this whole experience has really stopped me in my tracks. i can't seem to get anything done anymore. struggling to take any positives from this, my head just doesn't wanna know. it refuses to accept this change. i have covered my eye thats feels skewed with a patch today so i can only see out of my better eye. i have done this to try and stop spinning out and feeling sick. i know this wont help me long term but i'm at a loss at what to do.
any suggestions ?

really weird this is ! i've had my weaker eye covered all day and i feel pretty good. i havent felt sick at all and i've got on with everything no probs. as soon as i uncover it i feel nauseous again. so just call me patchy cos it seems to be workin.

The nausea is clearly from an imbalance between the eyes. It may be a refractive error imbalance, a convergence imbalance, or an accommodation imbalance. A comprehensive exam should reveal the cause.

You will probably experince the same effect with the other eye patched.
