4 Months out and pleased.

I am 53 and had custom intralace surgery for monovision on 1/3/08. My prescription was:
OD -2.25, -1.00, 095, +2.25
OS -1.75, -0.75, 124, +2.25

I had my right eye corrected for distance and left the left eye uncorrected for monovision. My eye stabilized after 3 months and am very pleased with the surgery. The only drawback is that I need to wear glasses in low light conditions when driving. I took my glasses to an optomitrist and replaced the right lens with a plano lens for cosmetic purposes. This is not due to the quality of the surgery, but is an inherent limitation of monovision. My question is this: Although I am pleased with the results, would it behoove me to have an optical implant in my left eye to improve my distance vision while maintaining my reading vision in the left eye? I am basically trying to weight the risk against the potential benefits. Thank you.
