glenn

hoping you can help me with this

I posted earlier about having advanced surface treatment for high mypoia and astigmatism. now with astigmatism of 1.75 right and 1.5 left. plano right, +.5 left.

since the symptoms of astigmatism and decentration are similar, how it is detected which of the two it is and how would the treatment differ.

as always, thank you for your time

A topography of the front of the cornea (Orbscan, etc.) will clearly show where the laser removed tissue and if that treatment area is centered to your visual axis. This is a rather clear picture easily evaluated by your doctor.
