Starbursts

Postby Rikala » Mon Feb 01, 2010 8:15 am

I had lasik last year in February (was -3.5 both eyes). After that I saw terrible starbursts and contacted another doc, who found all kind of HOAs. She made an enhancement to the right eye last September and my sight improved. Still I see starburst with both eyes, though they have dimmed and sometimes they look like looking through a "greasy" window. I also tried pilocarbine, but it causes headache. Can I ever get rid of this annoying problem?

See if your doctor will prescribe you Alphagan P.

I had LASIK in 1999 and have had starbursts (especially at night) ever since. I've been using Alphagan P for years. It constricts my pupils and decreases the starbursts very significantly.

I also tried pilocarpine and had a similar experience as yours. I recommend giving Alphagan P a try!

Cheers...CJ
