epthelium

Postby rmkeye » Sat Mar 21, 2009 2:43 pm

I had enchancement PRK on my left eye for a 1.75 overcorrection on 3/18. It is 3/21 today. My question is when I awoke this morning I felt a dull ache in my enhanced eye after I opened it. It has been more sensitive since then. Is it possible I ripped my epithlelium? I go to dr. on Tuesday. Should i be worried?

Have you tried wetting drops? It could just be dry eye even though your eye doesn't feel dry or gritty.

drops

Postby rmkeye » Sat Mar 21, 2009 5:46 pm

I have been putting refresh in every hour since he surgery. It is a little better now. I am going to start putting drops on my eyelid and then barely open corner and sneak a drop in there before I truely open eye after sleep.

Try Genteal drops, they make various drops from normal to severe dryness (which is a cream). I use the moderate to severe which is a gel type drop before bed and it helps for waking up. Check with your doc but they should be ok. I also use them during the day but mostly use the refresh drops.

haze

Postby rmkeye » Fri Mar 27, 2009 4:29 am

Glenn, I have read you say that mmc makes haze impossible under 6 D. I was +2 after an overcorrection and mmc was used. My post-op dr says i have haze. I have something. I am seeing 20-70 8 days after PRK enhancement. Is that possible? Thanks in advance.
