After I get Lasik, will I need reading glasses?

After I get Lasik, will I need reading glasses?

Postby Shammitt » Wed Jan 24, 2007 3:54 pm

I know some people who got Lasik and now have to use reading glasses, but their myopia is fixed. Granted, they are in their 40s and I am 25, but they did not need reading glasses before getting the surgery. How many people need reading glasses after receiving the surgery and does this correlate with age?

In addition, I like scuba diving and have read that with some surgeries you cannot go scuba diving after having the surgery. Is this true and with which surgeries?

Thanks.

We have detailed articles about the sudden need for reading glasses after Lasik and Scuba diving after Lasik that I'm sure you will find helpful.
