Droopy eye?

Postby mike r » Mon Feb 05, 2007 6:22 am

Isnt droopy eye sometimes a side effect of lasik? I thought I read this somewhere?
When your eyelids start to hang down more from the procedure.

Just wondering. I think i may be experiencing a subtle onset.

By the way my eyes are fine...NO PROBLEMO!!!

Im sure an issue may arise but for today OK...

A droopy upper eye lid (Ptosis, pronounced toe' sis) can be a side effect of the medications commonly required after Lasik and similar eye surgery. The effect will normally resolve when the medication is halted and it disappates from the body.

Ptosis also occurrs naturally and due to other conditions that are not related to Lasik.
