Preservative Free Vials vs Non (Sterile) Bottles

Postby DryEye » Mon Jul 10, 2006 5:37 pm

At what point post lasik may one begin using non-preservative vials such as Soothe, Systane, etc. in order to experiment what works best for one?

Thanks

Doctors are not exactly consistent on this issue. The more conservative position would be to use only preservative-free artificial tears as long as you have a Lasik-induced dry eye problem. That may be only a few weeks, or may be several months.
