why?

If you are thinking about having Lasik, IntraLasik, PRK, LASEK, Epi-Lasik, RLE, or P-IOL eye surgery, this is the forum to research your concerns or ask your questions.

why?

I check my eyes every 6months since 2005. Basically I find that it becomes more and more unclear during the last 2 years. It s not just a moment I have such feeling.

Every time I m wondering whether my eyes are getting worse, I go to check it. But the results say there is no much difference since 2 years ago.

Why? Is it just a matter of mentality?

thanks. :(

The amount of change is relative. If your vision changes 0.50 diopters, you would likely be able to notice the difference. If that change is 0.50 diopters astigmatism, you are very likely to notice the change. If you are having ocular health issues, the clarity at which you saw things may become reduced.

In addition to your exam with an optometrist (eye doctor), you sould probably have an examination with an ophthalmologist (medical eye surgeon) every few years or when problems appear.
