How do you find out the name of a good corneal specialist in New Jersey? I've seen the lasik certified recommendations, but am considering getting a second opinion and wanted to go to a specialist.

Contact the ophthalmology department of the nearest university affiliated teaching hospital. You may also ask the Lasik doctors you are considering who they would recommend.

If you are seeking an examination because of an existing medical problem that you believe may complicate Lasik, your exam would very likely be paid by your major medical health insurance. Check with your plan administrator.
