Hi, Glenn
Today, I found out that my right eye have irregular astigmatism. I was told that my astigmatism of .75 on my right eye was regular astigmatism and glasses can fix the problem from my first lasik place.
I came to different state to get second opinion and found out that my right eye have irregular astigmatism. This is what new doctor told me. The fact is that I see both eye 20/20. Left eye have some degree of astigmatism but it still sees sharp. My right eye have just little higher astigmatism but it sees blurry.
Can irregular astigmatism (little degree) cause everything blurry?
Two doctors already told me that -.75 astigmatism should not bother me too much and they didn't understand why I am experiencing extreme blurry yet I only got .75 astigmatism.
New doctor told me that eye glasses or soft contact lens won't fix my eye.
I tried soft contact and made it worse. He made me try Gas permisible hard lens. which gave me little more sharpness.
He said that PRK can fix this problem but how? How could PRK can fix my irregular astigmatism without over correcting?
Please you opinion will help me great.
Thank you
