Allegretto custom wavefront-guided

Postby an94 » Mon Jan 07, 2008 3:55 pm

I'm scheduled for Epi-lasek with the Allegretto laser. According to my Doc this laser is wavefront guided not custom wavefront. You mentioned that the newer Allegretto lasers are also custom wavefront guided. I believe his machine is about 1 year old and has been ungraded to 400HZ. Perhaps I'm confused about terminology, but I'd like the best available.Could you clarify this? What questions should I ask my Doc to to determine what machine he has?

I think the latest is the Allegretto Wave EYE-Q , my doctor is one of the ambassadors for Wavelight....and that's the one he has.

Yeah, you're just confused with the terminology.
