Distance on non dominant eye

Postby Tess » Fri May 02, 2008 3:13 pm

I had lasik 1 yr ago, 50 yrs old. I went in this week for an enhancement - my vision just wasn't sharp enough. the dr agreed I still had correction in both eyes. Then he asked me if I would want monovision to eliminate the readers. So I agreed. When he tested for my dominant eye it turns out that I'm cross dominant, with the left eye being dominant. Yet he went with the right eye for distance. Has anyone else done this, do you adjust, would my vision have been much better had I switched eyes? The dr says I can reverse the correction on the left eye if I hate it. Just wondering if I made a mistake and should both be reversed?
