Clear bubbles on bottom eyelid..

Postby tootsieroll » Sun Jun 08, 2008 8:13 am

I'm not sure if this developed because of dry eyes after PRK but I was hoping someone could tell me. I have tiny clear bubbles on the inside of the bottom eyelids(the red sac when you pull down the bottom lids) There are none on my eyelash area so it can't be stys. It's not painful but its bothersome because it feels like an eyelash is constantly in my eye.

I get these on my upper lids and have since I did lasik (2 years ago)
Brought it up to various docs one actually had a name for it
I know I have one when it feels like there is something in my eye.
I gently rub them out with a QTip that has warm water on it
They go away immediately and overtime have gotten better
Warm towel compresses may work
I definitely never had them before and noticed more of them when my eyes were more dry
Get them checked out let us know what they say about them

I also get those. They are from oil in your tears clogging where the tears come out. Warm compress works well....twice a day. If that doesn't work, I have some antibiotic drops( Levofloxacin solution 1.5%) that can put in right before bed time, and that usually clears them right up within a day or two.
