Hi
I was thinking about taking lasik for my cataracts.... would it cure my cataracts or is surgery my only option?

LASIK for your cataracts is useless. You'll need to get cataract surgery. LASIK will only alter your corneal shape. Cataracts are cloudy lenses which are INSIDE of your eye. The cornea is part of your eye's surface.

Cataract surgery is identical to Refractive Lens Exchange, which you may want to read for more information.
