Postier Optical Lens implant-Rezoom

Postby kghramm » Thu Oct 18, 2007 4:21 pm

My husband is planning to have eye correction surgery. The doctor has pretty much talked him into the Postier optical lens implant-Rezoom. He has not done the dilation exam yet. He does not have cataracts. All the pamphlets I have read say the different procedures correct nearsightedness and he still may have to use glasses at some point. Is there any real benefit to spend the extra money to perform the Rezoom compared to just doing a Lasik procedure, only just to prevent cataracts in the future? My husband has been wearing progressive glasses for some time and he is 54 years old. I am waying all the facts and everything states he will still have to use glasses for small print. What procedure do you suggest?
