I would appreciate it if Glen Hagele could comment on my post of January 8th.I will repeat it again.
I'm scheduled for Epi-lasek with the Allegretto laser. According to my Doc this laser is wavefront guided not custom wavefront. You mentioned that the newer Allegretto lasers are also custom wavefront guided. I believe his machine is about 1 year old and has been ungraded to 400HZ. Perhaps I'm confused about terminology,but I'd like the best available.Could you clarify this? What questions should I ask my Doc to to determine what machine he has?

The newest version of the US approved Allegretto can perform custom wavefront-guided ablation and in conventional mode it is wavefront-optimized. Which is best for you needs depends upon the exact nature of your vision correction requirements.
