Lasik in Thailand

Hello and looking for some input. Ill be headed to Thailand next week and it seems that quite a few folks have Lasik done there. So, two questions:

1- Has anyone had it done and if so, can you recommend any particular facility?
2- As Im just now starting to learn a bit more about the procedure and I have been told Im a candidate with -5 and -4.5, Im a bit confused by the different technologies. Some facilities use Mel 80, Visx Star, Technolas217 Z100, Navex 4 Gen. Can anyone provide any input as to which might be the better option or what to stay away from?

Your prescription is within the acceptable range for all of the lasers you mentioned, however there are many factors that must be considered by the surgeon that will help predict the probability of the desired outcome.
