I recommend that you seek the opinion of a corneal specialist, preferably one who is affiliated with a teaching hospital. The medication Mitomycin C has been used to eliminate corneal scaring with some success, but every individual is different. In some cases Phototherapeutic Keratectomy (PTK) can be used to remove the tissue that is hazed. These techniques carry their own risks, but may be appropriate.
