How long do the effects of laser eye surgery last?

I would love to hear from people who have had laser eye surgery many years ago and find out what their vision is like now. Laser eye surgery began with PRK and now lasik is the most popular. The earliest patients had PRK treatment in the early 1990's. If you had lasik or prk, in the 1990's or in 2001-2003, please le me know if you have had any long term side effects and whether you feel that you made the right decision.
