When to have enhancement surgery will vary depending upon the type of refractive surgery and the reason for the need of additional surgery. With conventional or custom wavefront Lasik, All-Laser Lasik, PRK, LASEK, and Epi-Lasik, most doctors wait three to six months after the first surgery, but can be performed earlier and much later. For CK, enhancements may be performed very quickly, however one needs to consider many issues before having additional surgery after CK.
